the whole lesson today was abt poverty. its funny. how when you hear about a global crisis, you feel sad, then 2 hours later, you forget all about it. you say that you're sad and feel sorry for them, when you don't even do anything about it and carry on with your daily life. so are you really sorry for them?

i guess we really are taking things for granted. they cant even spend a single dollar in one day. they don't have anything. it woke me up i guess. but tmrw i'll just forget all about it. and that's bad.

so anyhow. e learning today. kinda dumb if you ask me. haha. more hw than usual sch day. and can't find anything on the site. yups.

but went out with danielle, cheryl, heather and eryn. LAKE HOUSE!

just read other people's blog. what i mostly read was the basketballers losing to zhonghua and post scdance concert syndroms. all so sad, and nostalgic. don't know how to describe how i'm feeling now. sigh. and with all the homework. i cant find my file, think i left it in the dance lounge with my giraffe and jazz pants, but i dont think so. sigh.

musi and lit and history homework. don't think i'll be able to finish. with the asia pacific comp thing ending so late. and then the hist and math tests tmrw. i've been slipping in my math grades. and my hist grades have always been that sucky.

oh, i finally watched high school musical last night. it was ohkay. i expected much more, since almost everyone is hyped up over it. the songs were ohkay. zac is so not cute. his smile is awkward. and when he sings, his mouth goes heywire, if you haven't noticed. yupp. i'm guessing he's like 17 or something. wonder what its like to be a disney channel star or kids central star or whatever when you're just a teen.. hmmmm..

ANYWAY.. THIS WEEK HAS BEEN A BLAST. I MEAN. IT ALL FINALLY CAME DOWN TO THIS, AND ITS ALREADY ALL OVER. JUST LIKE THAT. POOF.

WEDNESDAY WAS FULL DRESS AT KALLANG. IT WAS HORRENDOUS. TRULY HORRIBLE. I KEPT MAKING MISTAKES AND WE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TIME TO GET TO THE FULL DRESS PART. HURRR. SO OF COURSE, WE WERE ALL FEELING SUPERLY UNPREPARED AND FREAKED. YUCKS.

THURSDAY. LEFT SCHOOL AT 11.40 AFTER SOME REALLY NICE AND WONDERFUL LESSONS. HAHAHA. YEAHH. WENT TO THE STUDIO TO RUN SOME ITEMS AND GOT HOME LIKE KINDA LATE. HAHA. KELLIE PICKED BIRU AND I UP AND DROVE US TO KALLANG. SO BASICALLY, I SCREWED YESTERDAY. BUT I LOVED THE PICTURES WE TOOK XD

TODAY. OH MAN, SCHOOL WAS DREADFUL. ZIDU AND MATH. SIGH. AND 4.5 HOURS OF SLEEP THE NIGHT BEFORE. SIGHH. BUT THE SHOW WAS WHEEEEE!!!! OH MANN, IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN LAST NIGHT!! AAAAAAAHHH!! I MEAN, I COULD DO MY MAKSIM DOUBLES AND I FOUETTED MUCH BETTER FOR STARLIGHT. NOT MUCH DIFF FOR EVERMORE THOUGH. HAHAHA. reception was fine.

sigh. so today, miss chua changed our seating arrangements. hahaha. sitting at yia kwan's old place, and i officially feel ocstracised. she's sitting at my old place now. yeahh. i'm not complaining or anything, its just that i have less people arnd me. that's all. haha. two major bad things: i keep hitting my head on the fan switches. and i dont noe who's coming into class. one major good thing: i get to write my letters in peace. i think i'm one of those who pass the most letters in class. heh. xD

erm, i think i'm going to give a bio on the dancer in the vid. she's so super good. sighh.

Polina Semionova was born in Moscow in 1984. She studied at the Bolshoi Ballet School in Moscow. She graduated in 2002 and joined the Berlin Staatsoper Ballet as a principal when she was only 18 years old. She showed her outstanding talent by winning several international ballet competition awards. She has toured in Japan partnering Vladimir Malakhov. In Germany she is also known as the ballerina dancing in Herbert Gr鰊emeyer's music video "Demo (Letzter Tag)".

Repertoire includes:
Odette/Odile in Swan Lake (with ENB), Nikiya in La Bayadere, Marie in Nutcracker, Swan Lake Pas de trois, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, title role in Malakhov's Cinderella, solo role in Balanchine's Ballet Imperial, and roles in modern works by Uwe Scholz and Christian Spuck.

Awards:
Gold medal at the Moscow International Ballet Competition 2001.
First Prize at the Vaganova-Prix Ballet Competition in St Petersburg 2002.

FRIDAY. aaaah. super funn and nice. hahahaha. let's see, we finished the first part of wuniang. so that was nice. yupps. and then, we had science at the comp lab. supposed to do some tour thing on DNA and genes and what not. hahahaha. krix went high. hahaha. and heather said we were laughing super loud. ahahahaha. then we wathed veggie tales. lolx. but we STILL didnt get to finish. blaaah.

the lit quiz was -.- i didnt know the whole paper. yucks. and it was half an a4? pfft. asses. CE!! that was nice. we went to the lt to watch some movie called paying it forward. i think i watched it before, super long ago. yah.. it was nice. only watched half though. about some boy, who does this social studies project, which is to do a good deed to 3 people, then those 3 people have to do good things to 3 other people and so on. yupps.

hmmmm.. dance was ok. just that we had to wear our costumes for starlight and nevermore. and now, i have to re-do my starlight costume cos the skirt's too short. blah.

CAMPFIRE!! aaah. that was super funn and funny. hahhahaha. went to eat dinner at orchard. then came back. found jeannette and went to sit at the cca area. hahahaha. the sec 2's were good. hahaha. and so were cheryl and sarah, with their emceeing. 2nd item was the acsi scouts. breakdancing. they were nice lah. hahaha. better than the sji guys. lolx. hahahaha. the sji people were super hilarious (i'm sorry, but yeah). its not exactly a bad thing. haha. the red-crossers and the sec 4 items were nice too. hahaha. erm. we sang songs and played some games i guess. hahaha. kellie actually went to ask for a scout boot[?] from a sji guy. hahhhahha. yeahh.

clearing up was funn. hahaha. took pictures, and danielle volunteered to help cut up rose petals. ahahha. eyahh. then kellie had an incident with a sji scout. 2, actually. bwahaaha.

WE'RE GOING TO ASK MORE DANCERS TO GO AND WE'RE GOING TO PUT UP AND ITEM AND WE'RE GOING TO BEAT ACS I AND GET BEST ITEM!! WHOOOOO!!! xD

oh yeah, i forgot. the cedar girls were e----- and b-------. yeah.

SATURDAY. erm, rehearsal as usual. except we finished an hour early. which is super rare. yi fen didnt show, and tied hair for a p5 girl. hahaha.

syf. it was erm, interesting. heh? met in school. they gave us our mc chicken and water. hahahaha. then krix and i became high for like 10 minutes before we settled down. ahhaha. ooh! the bus seats were super nice and comfy!! and kirx was a pig, and ate all over the place. hahahah =x THE MC CHICKEN DIDNT HAVE MAYO OR LETTUCE OR ANYTHING. JUST A PLAIN PATTY. oh, but now that i think of it, the mayo would go bad in the sun. aaahahaha. hehh.

syf was kinda boring? i dunno. i mean, it is the last and 2nd time i've been to the national stadium. i'm so proud of myself, i didnt even leave the seats. hahaha. the mass displays were kinda nice. hahaha. and the band comp thing. yupps. hahhaa. if i remember correctly, they were the same schools as the ones 4 years ago, when we went in p4. ahahahaha. =x yeahh.

was playing arnd with rachel's shades. hahahaha. hhahaha. yeahh. i think the balloon noise maker thingies were cool. hahahahaha. had my mc chicken right before we left. heeh.

kept seeing ~~him~~. yucks. cos they were sitting diagonally behind us. at least i wasnt at the edge of the bench. phew.

getting back to the bus was a mess. at least we didnt lose anyone. hahahaha. amanda sat at krix's ex-sty. hahahaha. heh. =x jkjk. took more pics and talked. and made lots of noise. hahaha.

i think it was early day or somehting. cos we reached sch an hour early. hahaha. then mom drove to american club where i had left overs from their dinner. hahaha. THE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE WAS YUMMY!!!! aahahahaha. yeahh. ok.
